The irony continues.

While more and more Americans insist America is not such a great country, millions worldwide continue abandoning their homelands to come here and enjoy a way of life made possible by the very core values so many Americans denounce.

The American Dream is alive-albeit different for everyone.

Once upon a time, people risked everything to come here, intending to work hard and build their American Dream with their own two hands. They struggled. They failed, they fell, and they got back up every single time. I have had the great pleasure of interviewing dozens of former refugees, first or second-generation Americans, who have built massive success here after years of struggle. Some even served in our military to give back and advance along their own paths.

But there is a new generation of immigrants today. Wave upon wave of people are invading- yes, invading- our country in plain sight. They walk across our borders and receive free health care, new clothes, new phones, and our government’s blessing to live off the generosity of hard-working Americans working their tails off to stay afloat in the economic crisis forcing them to choose between food on the table or gas in their car.

Businesses were forcibly closed by this government. People were arrested for going to work or school, while these people are given not only a free pass for entering this country unlawfully but taxpayer dollars to spend as they wish. People are still being fired for refusing a certain serum while these people are held to no serum requirement to enter our communities.

Sanctuary cities are allowing these unlawful residents to vote and hold positions on local boards. They are given driver’s licenses.

And while lawful citizens are told to bend over and take it, the lawbreaking new arrivals are offered free legal representation to sue a governor who had the audacity to do exactly what so many others have been doing.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis flew about 50 illegal immigrants to a town that has openly expressed its support of open borders and the people pouring over them.

He took the residents at their word when they declared themselves a sanctuary city. So when yet another wave of illegal immigrants was poised to be dumped on his doorstep courtesy of the federal government, DeSantis extended the journey for some of them and flew them to the good people of Martha’s Vineyard.

Unlike the flights into Westchester, NY, these planes did not arrive in the dark of night, dispersing people of unknown character and health into the community while its residents sleep.

Nope- these flights arrived in broad daylight for all to see.

Instead of being deported back to their countries, forced to remain in Mexico while their legal process plays out, or even arrested for breaking the law, these people were put on private flights, fed, given new clothes and phones, and dropped off in a community that has been screaming its support for them. Martha’s Vineyard has more than enough resources to absorb fifty human beings. But rather than live out the support their yard signs scream, this community gasped in shock and bolted its doors.

The state of Massachusetts sent a military response far faster than our government allowed military support to respond in Benghazi.

Within 48 hours all of the illegal immigrants were removed. The sanctuary city changed its mind- what they really mean, is that they support other people picking up the burden of the sanctuary part.

And now De Santis finds himself facing a criminal investigation from Texas, and a class action lawsuit filed on behalf of non-citizens who broke our laws.

You cannot make this shit up.

The lawsuit, filed by Alianza Americas, is seeking “compensatory, emotional distress, and punitive damages” for them.

Alianza Americas is suing Gov. Ron DeSantis for sending 48 Venezuelans to Martha’s Vineyard after they signed a consent form agreeing to the trip.

Alianza Americas just happened to receive $1.4 million from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.

According to the lawsuit and the Bexar County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office, the migrants were deceived into boarding that flight in Texas. Bexar County planned to ship them to Florida, but DeSantis somehow lured them into going to Martha’s Vineyard, instead, where they endured severe emotional distress and where they were far from the places and resources needed to go through processes to settle in this country.

DeSantis released this statement in defense of this actions:

Immigrants have been more than willing to leave Bexar County after being abandoned, homeless, and ‘left to fend for themselves.’ Florida gave them an opportunity to seek greener pastures in a sanctuary jurisdiction that offered greater resources for them, as we expected. Unless the MA national guard has abandoned these individuals, they have been provided accommodations, sustenance, clothing and more options to succeed following their unfair enticement into the United States, unlike the 53 immigrants who died in a truck found abandoned in Bexar County this June.

Americans as a whole genuinely welcome lawful new residents. We want people to come here, build their own American Dream, and enhance our communities with their presence. We just realize that criminals are waltzing right in here along with the good people.

We understand that this invasion is not sustainable. We are tired of being beaten down by a government seemingly intent on bleeding us dry in order to sustain other countries and support the elite. We are tired of double standards and abuses of power

We are over all of it, and we want our country back.
