Scott Smith has become the face of ridicule for left-wing groups following his arrest at a Loudon County school board meeting. Leftists have used the image of his arrest to make Smith the face of the supposed “deranged” conservative parent who dares to protest transgender bathroom policies at public schools.

However, what is lacking from this categorization is what led up to Smith’s arrest. Smith was in an understandably emotional state that day. He had attended the school board meeting to protest the school’s transgender bathroom policy, which resulted in his daughter being raped in the Stone Bridge High School bathroom by a male wearing a skirt who claimed to be gender neutral.

While criminal records have yet to be released, Smith’s attorney confirmed to the Daily Wire that the boy has been charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio.

While this is enough to make any parent highly emotional, what set Smith off was the gas-lighting he received from both the school board and leftist parents. Minutes before his arrest, the Loudoun County Superintendent lectured the parents that any concern over the transgender policy was misplaced as the school system has no record of any assault occurring.

To further aggravate Smith, a left-wing community activist directly informed Smith that she did not believe his daughter.
