Ahead of Kid Rock’s 2022 Bad Reputation Tour, he has released three new songs, the most popular being “We The People”. “We The People” is one of the most flagrant anti-leftist songs ever produced, as it bashes Biden, Fauci, and a variety of other democrat policies that are destroying America.
“We The People” was released on January 24th, and in less than 24 hours, it skyrocketed to the No.1 spot on iTunes. The song’s success even drew the attention of former President Donald Trump, who personally called Kid Rock to congratulate him. Kid Rock tweeted the following in response:
Kid Rock’s new song begins with an attack on Dr. Fauci, and the damage COVID restrictions are inflicting on the United States:
Wear your mask, take your pills. Now a whole Generation’s mentally ill. Man f*ck Fauci.
While Kid Rock’s lyrics are simple, they speak to serious ongoing concerns in our nation. The continued COVID restrictions have caused immense societal damage. Public health officials, like Dr. Fauci, are solely focused on the spread of COVID and are blind to any other issues. For example, the CDC has released data showing that the leading cause of death for Americans between 18-45 is Fentanyl overdoses.
When Kid Rock states an entire “Generation’s mentally ill”, he is likely referring to the horrible impact pandemic restrictions have had on children. Children are growing up in their third year of the “new normal” and face societal isolation from their peers through online school and heightened feelings of anxiety. One clear negative impact Covid policies have had on babies and toddlers is speech delays. Some speech therapists are citing a 364% increase in referrals for speech delays:
Certain profanity lased verses are sure to disgust many loyal democrat voters, such as the following:
Joe Biden does, the media embraces. Big Don does it and they call him racist… F*ck Facebook, f*ck Twitter too. And the mainstream media, f*ck you too.
However, other verses call for Americans to unite with one another and to reject the forces that divide us on racial and political lines:
But we gotta keep fighting for the right to be free. And every human being doesn’t have to agree. We all bleed red, brother, listen to me. It’s time for love and unity.
On the day that “We the People: was released, Kid Rock posted this video on Facebook explaining what motivated him to write the song:
“You know, constantly for just being a Trump fan [I am] attacked in the media day in day out. I don’t mind taking a punch, but I hit back, motherf*ker, and I hit hard.”
Kid Rock’s music certainly hits hard, as hitting the No.1 slot on iTunes is no small feat. With how fed up the American people are with the Joe Biden presidency and the continuation of COVID restrictions, it’s no surprise that “We the People”, which expresses those frustrations, is so popular.
